My journey into the legal world started in a business law class I took during my undergraduate years. I made it my goal to explore the inner workings of law and its potential to help others, so I began my career in criminal defense as a student attorney.
This continued after graduating from law school and being admitted to the bar. Over time, I transitioned to personal injury law, channeling the same dedication to justice in a different legal arena.
I heard about The Button Law Firm’s great reputation in representing those wrongfully injured – and I was immediately drawn in! I was intrigued by the compelling nature of the cases the firm has handled and its commitment to justice – it all aligned seamlessly with my professional and personal philosophy.
Within The Button Law Firm, my work focuses on cases that are or will soon be in litigation. Collaborating closely with Russell, Ashley, and Rena, I work on complex cases involving catastrophic injuries, championing the rights of those who have suffered from someone else’s negligence – like children injured in daycare incidents or people who have been hurt from a car wreck.
Here is some more information about me: I was born and raised in the DFW area, originally from Garland. I attended The University of Texas Dallas (UTD) for my undergraduate education and earned my law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
Outside the office, I love watching movies (especially horror films), CrossFit workouts, and trying cool cocktails at new restaurants with my fiancé! We also love spending time with our animals – our three adorable cats, Fig, Phillip, and Loretta, and our dog Frannie, a golden shepherd. You’ll usually find us taking Frannie to her doggie group classes on weekends!
Beyond the usual, I love exploring different parts of the U.S., and I hope to go on my first international trip soon. On a more personal note, my fiancé and I are planning our wedding, which is scheduled for April 2024. Exciting times ahead!
