I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, so this city will always feel like home. After earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, I moved to Seattle for a few years but eventually missed the sunshine, my family, and life without constant rain, so Texas called me back.

Once I returned home, I knew I wanted to be part of a team whose mission was more meaningful to me. When I heard about The Button Law Firm, I knew I’d found the right place.

What drew me to BLF was its advocacy for people who don’t have a voice, especially children. I feel strongly about being able to speak up for kids who can’t speak up for themselves. It’s not just “work” to me; it’s meaningful and personal.

In my role here, I work closely with Liliana and Cristina to help see cases from start to finish. I enjoy connecting with families, piecing together the details, and making sure every step moves forward smoothly. My favorite part of my job is knowing I’m part of the process that makes a difference in a family’s life.

One of my passions outside of work is Jiu-Jitsu. I got into it after years of wrestling with my brother. What I love about Jiu-jitsu is that it keeps me active, teaches discipline, and gives me a way to clear my head.

When I’m not training, I usually spend time with my friends, family, and two dogs. My weekends often involve catching up over good food, going for walks, or just relaxing with the people (and pets) I care about most.

Looking back, my journey from growing up in Dallas, trying something new in Seattle, and coming home again has shaped how I see the world and the kind of work I want to do. Joining The Button Law Firm has allowed me to combine my skills as a paralegal with my passion for helping those who need it most. I’m proud to be part of a team that fights for justice for children and families, and I’m excited to keep doing work that truly matters.
