My journey to The Button Law Firm has been driven by something that’s always come naturally to me—helping others. I’ve always found joy in supporting people and taking tasks off their plates so they can focus on what really matters. As an Administrative Assistant, I get to be part of the engine that keeps the firm running smoothly, which I’m incredibly proud of.

Before joining the team, I worked at an immigration law firm, which gave me a solid foundation in legal support work. Moving into the world of personal injury law has been a whole new experience, and I love the opportunity to learn and grow in a completely different area of law. Every day, I’m gaining new insight into how the legal system can protect families, and that excites and motivates me.

One of the things I love most about BLF is the team. Everyone works together to ensure each case gets the attention it deserves. It’s not just about doing your job in a silo—here, every role is connected, and everyone’s contribution matters. There’s a sense of unity, which you don’t find everywhere.

Something most people don’t expect when they meet me? I’m Latina and fluent in Spanish. Because I’m the light-skinned one in my family, I’ve lost count of how often I’ve been asked where I learned Spanish. The truth is, I didn’t learn it in school; I learned it at home from my mom and grandparents.

Outside of work, I’m a full-time dog mom to Mocha, my energetic Australian Shepherd who’s always down for a game of fetch, and Chica, my 14-year-old Pomeranian who prefers napping (especially on clean laundry). On the weekends, you’ll usually find me at the park with them or curled up at home playing cozy video games and watching my favorite shows.

A mindset that guides me in life and work is staying positive and solutions-focused. I’ve always believed that if you expect the worst, you’re more likely to get it. So, instead, I try to approach challenges with the mindset that there’s always a way through and that the outcome can still be something good.
