Kaitlyn Moreno and Russell Button attended a Garland Back to School Event The Button Law Firm recently participated in the Garland ISD Back-to-School Block Party! This event brought together families, educators, and community members to celebrate the start of a new school year. Lawyers Russell Button and Kaitlyn Moreno, who focus on daycare and childcare injury cases, were on hand to share valuable resources, connect with families, and educate the community.

A Day of Community Engagement and Education

The event, held at Webb Middle School, provided a unique opportunity for the Button Law Firm to engage with the Garland community. Russell and Kaitlyn shared our guides, 10 Tips for Finding a Safe Daycare, and 5 Steps to Take After a Daycare Injury. They also handed out stylish BLF sunglasses, adding a fun element for kids.

Kaitlyn Moreno, a proud alumnus of Webb Middle School, expressed her excitement about returning to her roots. "Going back to my middle school was a full circle moment for me," Kaitlyn shared. “If you had told me in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade that I would one day come back as a lawyer, I would have laughed and said, 'Yeah, right!' It was rewarding to return and help out my community, educating parents on daycare safety."

The Button Law Firm’s involvement in the event underscores our commitment to child safety and community well-being. By providing resources and information, we aim to empower parents with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their children’s care.

A Heartfelt Connection with the Community

Russell Button echoed the sentiment of giving back to the community, emphasizing the firm's dedication to causes that impact children and families. "Causes that impact our communities and specifically children in those communities are near and dear to our heart," Russell noted.

"We are passionate about making a difference in their lives, and being asked to come help be a part of the back-to-school event put on by Webb Middle School was a great honor. We loved seeing the excitement of the kids and families as they gear up for school."

The event was a vibrant celebration, with families enjoying various activities and resources provided by local organizations. Parents who stopped by BLF’s table appreciated the practical tips and advice on navigating daycare choices and understanding legal options in the unfortunate event of a daycare injury.

Gratitude and Looking Forward

The Button Law Firm is grateful for the opportunity to engage with the Garland community and provide valuable resources. Russell and Kaitlyn were thrilled to meet so many families and share their focus on advocating for children and families affected by daycare and childcare negligence. The firm’s participation in the event is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting families throughout Garland and the broader DFW area.

As the new school year approaches, the Button Law Firm looks forward to continuing our work in advocating for child safety and helping families navigate challenging situations. Our presence at the Back-to-School Block Party was not just about providing resources; it was a testament to our dedication to being active, supportive members of the communities we serve.

We look forward to future opportunities to connect with and support Texas families.
